And I did it again… Here’s mPFM v3.1 packed with full MultiLingual Interface (except the Install Script and the Login Window). And it’s so easy to translate it into your own language: just copy the contents of EN.ini from the ‘langs’ folder into another file in the same folder named <LN>.ini (yes, 2 letters) and start translating every bit of english ou can find into your own language (the english enclosed in “” of course…) and off you go enjoying mPFM in your own language as it will automatically detect the new language and offer it as an option at the Login Window… If anyone does translate it, please email me the translation and I will give YOU credit for it… I hope you enjoy my work and have fun! :)

EDIT: I introduced a small bug in v3.1 which concerned first time users as the configuration utility would display no text whatsoever to tell the user what each requested input field is all about… Sorry about that, it’s fixed in v3.1a which I have now released…

EDIT2: And I noticed 2 more mall display and functional bugs which I fixed in v3.1b…

Well, I suddeenly had the inspiration to make mPFM work on Windows as well as on Linux and work on IE7 and Safari as well as on Firefox… I still have some things to do, but I’m fairly confident that in one week (I’m away for the weekend, so no PHP/JS) the new mPFM v3.0 will be out on the web… So, if interested, stay tuned… ;-)

Well, today IE proved to me once again that it’s inferior to Firefox… And as a consequence, support for IE was removed from mPFM… This only means that I will not be testing mPFM on IE anymore, not that it won’t work to some extent in it… I will be porting mPFM to work on Windows machines and I will then try to make it work in IE as well…

Why won’t anyone create a browser to replace all others, so that a web developer’s job becomes less stressful? Maybe that’s God’s punishment for us guys… :-|

Well, here is the beginning of a new Age for me… First year at Uni – read the section about myself to find out more -, third year of web development and a lot of knowledge to acquire… I recently bought 2 web domains, maskaro.co.uk and maskaro.eu – both point to the same thing – and I also got a great hosting package and started hosting my work with them… Currently, only the File Manager will be available for the world wide public to see, but later this year I might make available anoher project I’m working on, a web based Monopoly game, completely dynamic (AJAX)… Well, that’s all for now, I got to go to sleep because tomorrow I’ve another full day… Full of web development, that is…
